This 5K run/walk on the Wake County Speedway banked race track is dedicated to supporting Meals on Wheels of Wake County. Meals on Wheels delivers nutritious meals and vital social connections to seniors in our community. Funds raised through this event will directly help ensure that vulnerable individuals receive the meals and support they need to live independently and with dignity. Every $10 provides one nutritious meal to a Wake County senior.
Join the post-race celebration with food trucks, beer vendors, and activities for the entire family, runners and non-runners, to enjoy.
Registration Prices
- 5K Run/Walk: $50 entry fee for runner (includes t-shirt and beer ticket)
- General Admission/Non-Racer: $35 entry fee to the in-field party! (includes beer ticket)
- Age 12 and under can register for a discount
- Last day to register and be guaranteed a shirt is April 1st. Race shirts will be available for purchase on site.
- No pets allowed; no refunds if event is cancelled due to inclement weather.

Race Results & AwardsThe race consists of 12 laps around the 1/4 mile banked NASCAR race track. Your finish time is the time that you complete the 12th lap. (You may view how many laps you have completed during the race in the ItsYourRace mobile app.)
Meals on Wheels is pleased to have Precision Race providing registration, timing and results. Runners can view their race results in multiple ways:
- Visit the green Precision Race RESULTS tent where you can get your personal results printout including laps completed, time, and ranking (overall, gender and age group).
